As a lifelong fitness enthusiast, I’ve practiced yoga on and off for 10+ years. In 2011, during a time of great change and struggle in my life, I began to practice yoga daily. The healing and transformation I experienced (mind, body and soul) was profound. Without a doubt I was hooked and eager to learn more about the power and practice of yoga. In February 2012, I completed my 200-hour RYT training at Lotus House of Yoga. I’ve been teaching since then, happily re-entering the work force after many years at home raising my 3 children. While I’m currently working toward my 500-hour certification, I continue to find the “best” lessons I have to share come directly from my own committed yoga practice. 

Born in SanDiego and raised in Florida, I grew up “playing” on the water. I’ve lived on the ocean; I’ve lived on and around lakes and I’ve been an avid boater for years. When SUP yoga was first introduced, I recognized it as a blending of 2 of my passions and vowed to “try that” some day!!! And then I did!!! Again I was hooked (this time, for more lighthearted and playful reasons) .. so I set off (to the beaches I grew up on) to get trained as a SUP yoga instructor!

In my SUP yoga classes you will work hard as you play hard. Trade in your mat for a floating studio and learn to love your practice in a whole new way. This hour-long basic flow will be challenging and invigorating, soothing and healing. Discover new ways to breathe in each moment, move to the rythymn of the water and seek alignment and balance that’s connected to nature. Wake up your senses as you flow through the postures on your gently moving mat.
