No! Prior experience is not necessary to enjoy a day paddleboarding with Driftwood. Many of our customers are first timers or novices. We love catering to families and beginners, and our paddleboards are perfect for them because they a quite stable. We recommend all participants are physically fit enough to be able to get to a standing position from your hands and knees. Participants should also not have any balance issues.
Our insurance does not permit anyone under the age of 6 years old to participate. Children 6+ may ride along with an adult at no additional charge; combined rider weight should not exceed 300 pounds. Youth ages 10+ may be able to paddle alone; we recommend riders weigh a minimum of 85 pounds to book their own board. Driftwood does have a limited number of youth life preservers available, but we encourage children to come in their own well-fitted PFD. Questions? Contact us directly at email@example.com.

All participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have concerns about your child’s ability to participate.
Our paddleboards are rated to 340lbs. Paddlers over 300lbs may experience difficulties with board handling. Please contact us at email@example.com if you have concerns about your ability to participate.
